Brassed Offpresented by The Billesley Players The miners of Grimley Colliery are facing uncertainty. Their pit is set to close, with the loss of 1200 jobs and the Colliery Band. Led by Danny, coughing with coal dust lungs, the spirit of the Band is re-kindled by the returning Gloria. This is a touching and savage account of a tight knit mining community, which will take you on an emotional roller-coaster,accompanied by glorious brass-band music.
