Daughters of VeniceThe Birmingham Theatre School Graduation Show 2006 This romantic and poignant comedy embraces a large cast of both graduating and in-house students. Carnival time in 1720 Venice, the play follows the fortunes of three girls who, having reached the age of 20, must decide to make their way in the world. The play addresses questions of how to survive in a harsh commercial world, as relevant todyt as it was in 18th century Venice.
