Information

Based on the novel 'Kipps' by H. G. Wells, Half A Sixpence follows the relationship between childhood friends Kipps and Ann. When parted as children, Kipps cuts a sixpence in half and tells Ann to look at it whenever she misses him.

Meeting up years later, they re-kindle their childhood friendship only for circumstances to separate them again. Is the grass really greener on the other side? Can love bring them back together and conquer all? What is the secret of true happiness?

This is the new version of Half a Sixpence which Bill Kenwright toured across the UK in 2007/2008. It has all the familiar storylines and characters of the original show, but has been re-imagined for today's audience.
